Djing is something i really want to get into but because of the eoconomic situation it makes it hard to save money for even a simple starter set. A friend of mine actually has a studio with samplers and all that but he told he has turntables and he does not know how to use them so i could practice on them. I'm pretty sure there Techs or some other high quality brand because his dad has alot of money so i'm pretty sure it's some good stuff

Probably. However, effy, you should totally keep up with it, especially if it's a passion of yours. Just because he was a pioneer and is really awesome doesn't change that you could come onto the scene with something funky fresh and change the face of music foreva :p Follow your dreams!

i feel kinda the same, but that was a bad ass mix. I'm pretty sure he needed new needles and records after that.

Yea he totally raped his vinyl, but this routine is amazing. I was practically in tears watching this. It's this kind of stuff that makes me stop practicing for like a week because i feel there is no point anymore... i will never be that good.

Qbert has come a long way. I met him back in the late 80's. The club I was deejaying at was having a battle of the DJ's contest and one of the DJs didn't show, so I had to fill in. It was my first time meeting him and I was blown away. He did that same thing with the whistle and the crowd went wild. |
