The difference between "those days" and today is that these were REAL musicians who could make music with the most basic of tools. A guitar and mic. Think about how digital and protools makes it so easy to make so called music ... that lacks soul. Most every one of the musicians that played Woodstock in 69 had more talent than the majority of todays musicians. I dare Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake to make a RAW song like this without major help! They couldn't!

First performer...you young folk need to watch this film and realize alot of the e not popular until after this film...such as Richie,Santana,Alvin Lee,etc.Santana didn't have a recording contract until after their incredible performance here.A year later Joe Cocker had a couple of huge hits and Santana released their first great album..Evil Ways.Carry on..and peace to all.. |
