first of all, Iran had 1979 only 35 million residents!!! not 70 million.this flag show us just poverty, war, sanctions, torture, suppress the students, teachers and workers and and and...and the last: shir o khorshid was drawn before 3000 years first time.(Ahmad Kasravi, tarikhcheye Shir o Khorshid) where was pahlavi then before 3000 years?!

look at their flag and you can figure out why they attracted so many publicity from the news!Iran's flag representing 70 million people has changed 30 years ago. that flag only represents the late kingdom of Pahlavi. Some people need to get over with it, take their head out of their asses and face reality.
