They played at my older brothers prom at Lane Tech High School here in Chicago.He died 5 years ago and hearing this brings back a lot of memories.

I'm with ya on that one. What did Madonna ever do to deserve such an honor? The list of worthy groups or individuals is huge. Although this is not popular, I'm a fan of ABBA's music. They rank third behind only Elvis and the Beatles in total sales but they rarely get mentioned. They continue to sell millions each year....and Madonna gets in? Who's in charge over there anyway?

correction, the grassroots are one of only nine groups to chart 29 or more top 100 billboard singles and they hold the reocrd for consecutive weeks on the billboar4d charts, 307. I'm thinkin they are R&R hall of fame worthy.
