Its because he's singing it in half falsetto rather than the full falsetto he uses on Night Fever and the like, so it sounds different, I wouldn't say its whining though..

Although it was a well preformed concert i can't help that he sounded like he was whining when he was singing tragedy compared to when he sang it in the 80's. Also the cover by celldweller is awsome.

They did such a great job on this. I think if anyone was disappointed in their performance that person should take into account that they don't know what all the brothers might have had to go through. I think it's a great performance.
